AESV2Plugin & Vista crashes

Hi guys,

I have a strange behaviour with the AESV2Plugin.dsm (Version 1.0.0 RC3). If I run it on a Vista machine with the newest UltraVNC viewer v1.0.5.6, it crashes when I try to make use of the AESV2 Plugin. When I'm not using encryption everything works fine and I can connect to the server.

On another machine I'm using Windows XP with the newest viewer v1.0.5.6 and the same AESV2Plugin.dsm. And there it works fine...

Has anyone a clue what might be the error? What's the difference between Vista and XP? I also tried to start the application in compatibility mode (Windows XP SP2) but the app still crashes.

Every hint is welcome!

test by Scovel (developer of encryption plugin) under OS vista

known issue with AESv2
no problem with ARC4
no problem with MSRC4 (also verified by redge since 1.0.5.7.4 but another major issue unrelated to dsmplugin)
for the fix. next week.
waiting back of Rudi after her commercial project is terminated.

waiting new build of 3 plugins from Scovel.

O.K., that sounds great! It's a long time since scovel wrote this plugin, but it's still my favorite! I personally prefer the AES encryption.

I'll be happy testing the new build.

should be fixed aesv2 and available with new build uvnc 1.0.6.0

would have the aesv2plugin.dsm fix for check compatibility ?

Thanks for the update. Not yet official isn't it? I just found a pre-release in the "1.0.6.0 stable" section. Or is there another download section, where I can take it from?
