UltraVNC with Multiple Router

Post by hchovatia »

Firs of all I am very sorry for My bad English :(

I have portforwording problem actully
I have 2 wifi router installed in my factory (we called it R1 and R2) both router is conncted with each other with RJ45 Cable (R2 router is in Bridge mode DHCP Off),
R1 is also Connected with Internet, DVR and NAS200 (Network access Storage) via RJ45 cable and it connted with 2 laptop and 1 desktop via WiFi (OS:XP Firewall Disable)
R2 is connected with 5 Computer 2 of them are Win NT via RJ45 and rest of 3 are via WiFi all PC with Firewall disable
I installed UltraVNC in All PC and Laptop
I setup port forwording in R1 for accessing computer and device from my Home via Internet
Now i am successfully conected with my DVR, NAS200 and PC (UltraVNC) which is directly connectd with R1 but i cant access PC connectd with R2 via Internet (locally It is accessible i.e. I connected with R1 via WiFi and want to access PC on R2 using local 192.168.0.x address it is easily accessible)
So my problem is that how I access PC (UltraVNC) connectd with R2 router from home via internet

Please Guide Me
Thanks in Advance :)

just NAT port forwarding is not enough
Maybe you miss port forwarding in the firewall of R1 (from internet (public, external) to R2 (private/internal) ?

i had the same issue with only single router
I had only port forward NAT but forget opening port in the firewall from public (internet) to private (internal)
UltraVNC 1.0.9.6.1 (built 20110518)
OS Win: xp home + vista business + 7 home

Im willing to bet R2 doesnt have the firewall turned off.....
Just because you disabled the DHCP that does not mean that your firewall is disabled...
You have to figure out how to disable the firewall portion of R2 and turn it into a switch and it will work perfectly.....

As a test try pinging from your computer behind R1 to a computer behind R2 it probably wont work because R2 still has the firewall enabled
