MSLogon Settings Location?

Post by dh10 »

I transitioned from UVNC 1.0.0 to 1.0.8.x and easily transitioned all user machines to the new version with the uninstall / install new silent.

I am now having an issue installing 1.0.8.x on a new machine and getting the MSLogon User settings to carry over. I have the ultravnc.ini file copied over and all the settings are correct in the console except the MS users list is empty.

How can I push the user settings to the new machine?

thank you

If you have only domain users or groups in the ACL, you can copy the contents of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORL\WinVNC3. Otherwise, you'll need to rerun MSLogonACL.exe
