Connects but cannot control remote PC

Clean install of W7 Home Prem and UNVC on 2 machines.
Connected via wired home network.
Can connect ok but when I see the desktop on the remote machine my mouse will move but not allow me to select/click anything.
File transfer works fine.
Any ideas ?

if this above solution fail

uninstall old uvnc.... reboot... delete ultravnc folder
install uvnc 1.0.8.2
UltraVNC 1.0.9.6.1 (built 20110518)
Windows OS: XP Home + Vista Business + 7 Home
Only experienced user, [u]not[/u] developer

Unfortunately both failed to solve the problem.

Maybe I should try an older version of UVNC...

The solution I found was to uninstall 1.0.8 and install 1.0.6 on the server machine and all works ok with 2 machines running W7 HP x64.

Seems to be an issue with 1.0.8.

This sticky didn't solve the problem for me.
