I just tried UltaVNC Viewer 1.0.8.2 with several servers and the only ones giving me trouble are Unbuntu 9.10 machines. Is anyone else having success using UltraVNC to control Ubuntu 9.10 machines?
Since VNC server is installed by default in recent Ubuntu versions I would think this would work. I see the server screen in the viewer but all mouse clicks and keyboard entry do nothing.
Any help would be appreciated!

Look under the settings and see if the view only is not checked

We have two SuSE Servers which are working just fine. Maybe the VNC Server is by default on view only? Please check the configuration.
