Latest SC slow screen refresh

Post by kenray »

When SC is on-line compiled with the latest versions the screen refresh is slow in our custom application. Previously compiled version was great in our app, just slow when remoted to a vista pc. Any ideas or older archived versions available?

I experience the same slow screen refresh problem with Vista and Windows 7.

Everytime I click mouse, the screen gets refreshed after 30 seconds or more. It is almost impossible to use SC on a remote Vista/Windows 7.

I am eagerly looking for a solution for this problem.

Please let me know if anyone can help.

Thanks.

Consider running the full 1.0.8.2 UltraVNC as it supports Vista much better than SC.

Read the documentation as it has SC functionality built in:
http://support1.uvnc.com:8080/index.php?section=16

-sc_prompt
This option modify some behavioiur for Single Click usage.
*Pass server info to viewer and request viewer accept
(This use an unofficial rfb protocol, require ultravnc viewer)
-sc_exit
*Server quit when viewer disconnect
*Don't exit when desktop switch to UAC/winlogon
