SC + vnc reflector

Post by Tominator »

Hi,

I'm trying to connect Single Click with VNC reflector (that old open source project that still works).
This connection fails, with the error on reflector's side: "unknown encoding: 0x00000010".

When i try the connection with the regular ultravnc server, it works and there's no error.

The only thing i notice in my logs is that the regular winvnc is version 3.6, and the SC version reports to be 3.16.

Can someone shed a light, or point me to a newer SC-winvnc that i can use? Perhaps source code of the SC exe? The regular ultravnc code doesn't contain the word 'helpdesk' so it's useless to even build that..

I don't know, but there are a LOT of SC replacement projects, some hosted here. Popular ones include SCPrompt and ChunkVNC.
