viewer connection dropping

Post by Geomalak »

Whenever I conect the vnc Viewer to another Vista or Windows 7 machine, it connects and then in seconds it say that viewer encounter a problem and is closing.
Have anyone experienced this problem? If so I will like to know what was the solution.

What OS are you using on the viewer side?
When you say the viewer connects but then it crashes in seconds are you able to at least see the computer running InstantSupport?

I haven't heard of anyone else having this problem, could you try the viewer on a different computer?

Are you running any additional firewalls? Try turning off your AV.

More detail would be helpful....

I am running Windows 7 and Vista. I am getting a connection but as I said as soon as I connect it says that viewer has encountered a problem and is closing. I am not having this problem when using XP
