system is configured to not allow interactive services

Post by schrader »

Hi,
I have tried to install uvnc onto a windows 7 32bit machine but it does not
work correctly , I cant connect but am unable to move mouse type etc

I checked the event log and found :

The uvnc_service is marked as an interactive service. However, the system
is configured to not allow interactive services. This service may not function
properly.

Any idea on how to fix this to get uvnc to work?

Many thanks in advance

I'm running on a Windows 7 machine and it works fine for me so I know its possible.
Did you set up two passwords (one full, the other view only) and then used the view only?
Did you install as an administrator?
Good Luck.
