I am trying to use ChunkVNC as a mechanisim for doing presentations from my computer. Basically I would like to hook up and take control of the customer's computer and then switch control to my computer so that I could do a demonstration of applications that I've developed.
Crossloop has this "Switch Control" feature but I would prefer to use ChunkVNC if possible.
Any Chance?
Thanks,
Vic

Switch Control
Re: Switch Control
Not sure; it may be possible to replace the viewer's built-in "Disable Remote Input/Monitor" graphic with a transparent GIF?
I think there's an INI option for it.

...Ah, I think you have to select "Disable Only Inputs On Blanking Request" on the server side!

I'm not trying to disable their control, I want to switch the connection to my computer once I'm connected to their computer. They (Remote) would then be able to view (or control) applications on my computer (Local).
My customer would initiate the conversation using InstantSupport.exe. Whereas once I'm connected (via the repeater) we could switch screens between each separate computer using "Switch Control".
Team Viewer also appears to have this feature (switch sides with partner) but doesn't work properly on my Windows 7 machine. It goes into an endless loop of starting multiple sessions (like looking in a mirror).
Hope this explains it better as to what I'm trying to accomplish.

Re: Switch Control
Ohhhh.
Then take a look at some of the videoconferencing products in my post at [topic=18210][/topic]
Most (or all) provide only view-only ability, but several have the kind of switching/delegation you describe, i.e., changing who the current desktop "presenter" is.
Also, the iTalc project (VNC based) does something like that, and does provide remote control as well.
