It would be nice if there was an option to clear the Server/Host List (the history of IP #s successfully connected) in the VNC Viewer.
In the past, is seems that following the advice from the FAQ forum, How to Remove the Vnc viewer servers lists, would work. However, that post is dated 2006, and similar threads dated as late as 2008. I'm using the new Windows 7, and while that referenced registry key in the FAQ is there, it did not have the current list that I see in the VNC viewer. It probably was placed there from the installation, and deleting it did nothing in the VNC viewer. I had to search for "VNC" in the registry, and found a copy in the HKEY_USERS tree under a really long numeric key that would work when I modified it. Since it was a long numeric key, I suspect that the numbers could be different from machine to machine.
Again, please consider adding a Clear Server List option to VNC Viewer.

VNC Viewer - Clearing Server/Host List/History
Re: VNC Viewer - Clearing Server/Host List/History
Again, that "really long numeric key" should be exactly the same hive that's loaded as HKEY_CurrentUser when the person who's accessed VNC is logged in to Windows.
This was documented in 2001.

Re: VNC Viewer - Clearing Server/Host List/History
Would still be nice if there was an option/button instead of using the registry key. I had the problem of being too knowledgeable and tried to keep any big changes like editing the registry only in the administrator mode.
Re: VNC Viewer - Clearing Server/Host List/History
Yeah, personally I would prefer that neither the viewer nor the server ever used the registry at all. The registry stinks.
