turkish keyboard problem in xp

Post by burzek »

Hi,

I have problem typing character "i" if vnc server is in xp machine. Guest is also xp running vncviewer both latest version 1.2.0.5

Normally vnc has always problem with Turkish character not being sent correctly to the server.
Selecting "Japanese keyboard" in the vncviewer options solves problem generally, only while typing letters in some software I used to have problems.(such as notepad++)(this is xp client => w7 server , can type all characters in standard MS windows software)

However, now I can never type letter "i" in xp vnc server machines. I can type "I" , "ı" , "İ" , and all other Turkish characters, but not the standard "i" character, whether "Japanese keyboard" options is selected or not.

Would you please solve this?

Thanks.
