Listen on (K)ubuntu

Post by 0522 »

I work on a Windows workstation where I receive "calls" for remote assistance, launching vnc in listen mode on port 5000 (vncviewer.exe -listen 5000), and the remote part uses SC.
Now I'd like to replace my Windows with a Kubuntu desktop. I'm new to linux but I want to leave Windows. The only problem I have is that I am not able to make UltraVNC in listen mode working on Kubuntu (using Wine)

Can someone help me with the procedure to make it working, or just suggest a link that may help me?

Thank you.
