Option to hide winvnc.exe in Task Manager

Post by rodideker »

My request is for an option to hide the .exe in Task Manager. I have a client that (although he has no right to) goes to Task Manager and Ends the Process. I'd like to be able to hide it in Task Manager with hot-key/password ability to unhide for my use.

When he is admin he can do what he want.
When he is a normal user and app was started by service, he can't stop it
or kill the proces.

I know that.

That's why I'm asking for this option to be added.

He needs admin rights to load printer drivers, etc. But he doesn't need to shut down the uvnc service.

It's just a request.

you dont need to hide the winvnc.exe from task manager

you need to use sudo and let the user login as normal user
and make a account that only can load printer drivers with all other permissions disabled

when the user need to load printer drivers let him sudo to the above user load printer drivers and he is done

that way the user cannot shut down any process or do any other damage.
