Please help me to choose the right SC version/edition

Hello!

Some times I need to do something on a client's computer remotely and currently I use PC Helpware for it but there is a few things I'd like to change

Now I have to start an app before client will connect
Filetransfer only thru copy/paste
Some problems with Vista
no restart support


Please advice me what edition / distribution to choose and where to find an instruction for dummies how to create server and listener.

What I'm looking for:

on a support computer should some listener be always running: startup tray app or service
filetransfers with interface like in UltraVNC
client's add with ability to choose other party like in PC Helpware

and optional:
encryption support
linux repeater
restart on reboot support
