[SOLVED] mouse problem

Post by drescherjm »

On a Windows7 box I am trying to control an xp64 install running on a linux box under kvm with the vnc server option. The issue is that the local mouse and remote mouse get very far out of sync and it appears to be a game of play with the mouse cursor to get them both to be on top of each other. I have tried the 3 options for mouse under ultravnc but it appears none of these have any effect. Any ideas as this is driving me nuts.

That did not fix the issue. The local mouse is still sometimes 2/3 of a screen away from the remote mouse making it difficult to navigate.

[EDIT]Hmm. This may be a server issue. I am getting the same behavior on a linux vnc client to the same kvm vnc server.[/EDIT]

linux box under kvm with the vnc server option
is not a ultravnc bug
you need to set this property at your kvm with vnc inside)
we had this issue with our kvm, we change a setting in the kvm with vnc server inside
normally, you have the include vncviewer with it.

edit: replaced your by our kvm

Yes, I believe the bug is in kvm. Here:
