WinVNC Log file info

Post by vedharush »

I am able to get winvnc server name and ip name from the Vncviewer.log file.

I expect the same from winvnc.log file (i.e) Vncviewer machines name or IP should be in winvnc log file.

I am using WinVnc -----> Repeater<--------Viewer type connection.

Is there any other way to get client (viewer machines) name or IP?. :idea:

The ip of the viewer isn't know by the server if you use id.
server -> repeater
viewer -> repeater
Only the repeater know it, and this is logged by the repeater.
It create files based on ID with connection times.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

This is my doubt as well as request, yes it's true that the connection use only ID here is my doubt,
How viewerlog file gets server machine Name and login name while using ID for connection?.

I saw in winvnclog file the repeater ip and client number is shown
like 192.168.1.217 (1). Ip is repeater's and the (1) is first client if it is second client then (2) .....

My request is, If it is possible please give client machine name and login
name in winvnclog file like viewerlog file in feature, addition with 192.168.1.217(1).

Thanks
Vedha
