UVNC SC Process Kills Itself When Connecting

I have searched through this forum and haven't found anything about this, so here goes:

Once in a while, and often for extended periods of time, the UVNC SC app (client side) will immediately kill itself after a connection is initiated via the console. It shows up in the task tray and displays the default warning bubble "Establishing Connection..." for about 1 second and then kills itself.

This happened first on a client's machine intermittently a few days ago. Tonight it seems to be happening every time I execute it on my own machine and I have no idea why.

Anybody out there have any answers?
