Hi,

I have had this problem with numerous version over the years, but with the latest version 1.0.8.2 I have not been able to resolve it.

What happens is that I accedently type the same password in both the VNC and View-Only box (think it's asking for verify the password).

From then on, even if you change the passwords, the remote connection is always stuck in view only mode.

To resolve it in the past I uninstall, delete the VNC folder and re-install. But with my latest machine on Windows 7, this has not helped. I have check and there are no ticks on view only. This appears to be a bug that has not been corrected for some time (I have had it since version 1.02).

Does nayone know if the programmers are looking at this? or are there any solutions?

After re-installing again (About the 5th time) it appears to be working now..

Traditionally VNC settings are in several places in the registry too, which is what really needs to get cleaned properly, I suspect.
