UltraVNC *Upgrade* MSI

Hi Guys,

Quick question, does anyone know how to make an UPGRADE MSI for the latest version of UltraVNC.

My Problem is this. I'm the domain admin for a company of about 200 PC's. Each PC has had UVnc 1.0.8.2 installed manually when it was first bought.

I have been asked by my manager to get Uvnc 1.0.9.6 installed on all the PC's and I would really like to do this via group policy software installation so that it will make it easier in the future to upgrade and to also make sure that whenever a PC is added to the domain it gets all the software we need to support it.

I have tried using VNCed MSI creator but that uses the "Installer Full source" and doesn't install 'over the top' of the old version. I get issues where the server service keeps stopping and starting.

Installing the "Upgrade" exe manually installs perfectly but I can't use this in Group Policy as it's an EXE.

Any thoughts on how I can achieve this would be much appreciated.

P.S If there are any of the UVnc software developers reading this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE release the installer as an MSI, I'm sure I am not the only one that wants to install via group policy.
