SC - connection via DynDNS

Hi,

with a lot of help from this forum I create my SC-Version local.
And it works from my PC over a dynamic Adress
[HOST]
-connect xxx.dyndns.org:5500 -noregistry

But now i have one problem:
I try the Version from an other PC and i get following Info-Message:

WinVNC Usage
-connect xxx.dyndns.org:5500 -noregistry

any idea what is going wrong on the other PC?

Just shooting in the dark ... Do you have another WINVNC version installed and running (maybe as service) on that PC ?

I found the error -
the PC with the errormessage use a Proxy-Server and there was no DNS Server in the Network-konfiguration.
The Internet-Explorer works without the setting, so noboby set the DNS in Network-Konfiguration

if i'm not wrong,

SC mode I and mode II don't support proxy !
SC mode III support proxy (beta test, you welcome to test it for improve usability and maybe found some unknown bugs.

I don't use the repeater (if you mean this with mode I & II).
I use only the "normal" sc version created with the
create_exe_mod from here:

and have no problem with the proxy.

but for information correcting my mistake
SC work with repeater only mode II and direct access as well,
SC can't use repeater mode I
