"-autoreconnect" could be improved... i guess

Post by Vinzz »

Hello,

I'm a HUGE fan of UltraVNC.
If I try:
winvnc.exe -autoreconnnect -connect IPADDRESS
to connect to our listener, then whenever i close the viewerwindow, it reappears... Great!!
But when e.g. the viewer (in listen mode) crashes and I restart the listener the client doesn't retry to connect. (if i am very fast, the server DOES reconnect)
Is there a timeout for that? Is it possible to force winvnc.exe to retry unlimited to connect?

Hope somebody can answer this...

Cheers!

I installed Firedaemon freeware version and let start vncviewer in listen mode as a services. whenever it crashes firedaemon restarts the listener automatically...
All connection reconnect then (ofcourse with option -autoreconnect in winvnc.exe at server side).

Anyways, I liked to see a better solution for this :|
