Clipboard... and files...

Post by Fudrake »

Heya- I'm using UltraVNC and some thing called Win2VNC to make my mouse and keyboard act like they were in a KVM switch, where infact they are not!

It's working right, very fast indeed.

But I've noticed something... mmm
If I copy text from the local or remote machine, the clipboard will be reflected, and copied as well. which .. I reckon, is VERY COOL!!!

But, say, I wanted to transfer a file over the short-hand way.

I reach into my remote computer, and "copy" a file, perhaps less than 50KB, into the "clipboard". When I "paste" in my local computer, it's not there. It will not paste, or, it will paste the last thing to be in the clipboard, and not the item I just copied from the remote computer.

How is it possible to achieve this? i.e.
To shell copy a file from local computer and paste the file in the remote computer
AND/OR
To shell copy a file from remote computer and paste the file in the local computer??

TY!!
