Customizing PCHelpWare

Post by sterling1989 »

Hey everybody.....I am a long time user of SC. I have used it in personal and work related modes. I highly customized the colors, logos, icons and had SC set to be able to connect to multiple users. (Customer could choose to connect to 5 different techs to fix the problem.) My issue is now with pchelpware. The website says you can custom config the software to do the same thing but really does not tell you how to do it. Neither does the manual. This is the page I'm speaking of: http://www.uvnc.com/pchelpware/configl/index.html
I would love to use my existing helpdesk.txt file and my icons and colors. At the ver least I could build a new helpdesk.txt file. However while trying to guess on how to configure pchelpware, all I get is the standard graphic with 2 lines of input. Nothing like the screenshot shown in the link. I still want to have multiple users as an option for my customers. Any help would be great. A link to a tutorial on how to do it would be wonderful. My excitement about this new tool has turned to frustration. Thanks in advance!

I have found out the the pchelpware and the scgui do not support the exact same commands.

The SC gui uses the same commands as Single Click so the same procedures that you used to create your Single Click should hold true to your pchelpware scgui except that it looks like you can now have a create.bat that will create the *.exe for you
