Suggestion : Alternative to screen blank

Post by Truenigma »

Would it be possible to display a message on a remote screen when you lock control rather than blanking the screen. All too often I'll get a call to look at a computer, I lock it to avoid the location I'm assisting causing any problems, but random employee sees the screen is black, the mouse and keyboard arent doing anything so they power cycle the computer further messing up what I was originally fixing.

Ideally I'd like to set a default message on my client ie " Computer Locked by : ...... Please direct any questions to the help desk at xxx-xxx-xxxx". Have that display in large impossible to miss text across a solid background screen, still locking keyboard and mouse functions as remote screen locking does already.

Would something like this be possible?
