Looks like an encoder and quality setting (this is a vnc option you can change)

Try show as OSD (vnc option) to check if it's really accepted by the server.

I noticed that the popup is sometimes shown in the message window and not as popup

There was en error in version 1.5.0.13 that killed the server when using "custom message" popup.
Will also be fixed in 1.5.0.14

The server send his keyname 20250325_Server_ClientAuth.pubkey
And the client use the key that start with 20250325

The client can have multiple keys, but the server only has one key

Complex passwords are supported, the request was to enforce complex passwords.
The password is set by the administrator and it's also the administrator that would enforce or not complex passwords.

This has low priority and don't offer an extra security.

It's not the DSMplugin that need to change his location, but the plugin settings need to be saved to the correct ini file.
Depending how winvnc is started that can be PF, PD, AD

Ivanhoe, seems I also need to update the plugin for the new location of the .ini... I guess the plugin is still wrinting in the current folder instead of the ProgramData.

Seem someone is trying to access port 5900.
Everybody can try to connect to your ip on port the vnc port

*use encryption
*use another port instead of the default 5900, usual they only scan for ports 5900

This is just a general error telling that winvnc.ese is using some uninitialized memory.
Soeey, no error i can work with to pintpoint the orirgin.

Was you able todo some test to see if the ini was proper copied.
Popup's will be removed in next update, they are only there to know what happen in the installer in case something goes wrong
